The other day, I was chatting with a girlfriend of mine, and we were discussing how we wish there was more to do. What we meant by that was we always go out for dinner and drinks, but we wish there were more options for us. For example, things that don’t break the bank but are fun and different, that being said I am so excited for this month. Urban Crust has some fun and different activities going on!
Beer…delicious! On January 16, 2012, Urban Crust is doing a beer tasting on DESCHUTES BREWERY. Of course, the very talented Chef and Partner, Salvatore Gisselu, will prepare 5 dishes to accompany every beer. The best part about it is that it’s only $29.90 per person.
A quick background on Deschutes Brewery: It is craft brewery founded in 1988 in Bend, Oregon, USA. The company produces a range of beers, which it currently distributes to eighteen states. As of 2010, it was the fifth-largest craft brewery and eleventh-largest overall brewery in the United States. So, everyone come and join.
Last month we filled up at our wine tasting, and it was a complete success. Urban Crust is going to continue her legacy and host the Taste of France on Monday, January 23, 2011 beginning at 6:30. 5 wines and 5 dishes for only $34.90… I am super excited!
How many times do you think to yourself, how fun would it be to take a cooking class, and learn something new? Well, Chef Salvatore Gisellu has done it again! He is teaching a cooking class January 28th at the Dallas Farmers Market titled Sexy soups. How cute is that!? It’s $25 per class and to sign up follow this link http://www.aiwf.org/dallasftworth/contentpage/index.html?id=19.
It looks like Urban Crust has a great month ahead to match that beautiful weather we have been having.
Until next time.
