WOW! We're 2 years old! Thank you so much to ALL our patrons and friends. We are so lucky to have be in such a great city and location. We celebrated our anniversary with a crazy party on Sunday, July 31st. FREE EVERYTHING!!!
There was tons and tons of pizza, beer, cocktails, wine..... you name it we were just giving it away. We partnered up with an old bartender of ours to raise money towards his Cancer Ass Kicker battle. Conan Primm worked at Urban Crust for more than a year and had to leave us to start treatment for cancer. As difficult as it is for anyone to have that happen at such a young age, can you imagine not having insurance and paying out of pocket for a $20,000 CAT scan. I barely made more than that my first year out of collage and to think that the scan takes just a few minutes. Through our silent auction, specialty drink sales, and tips/donations, we raised over $8,000. An awesome accomplishment based purely on donations from the kindness of friends and strangers.
